I grew up sketching batik patterns before I could write my own name, which is probably why I can spend three hours in a single gallery without checking my phone. My passion is knowing exactly which emerging Balinese painters are showing this month, which temple ceremonies double as living art events, and which tucked-away studios welcome curious eyes. I know this island's creative pulse the way most people know their own neighborhood.
