The question I get most is "where's the real Moscow?" — and honestly, it's rarely on the postcards. I know this city through its buildings: Stalin-era towers, quiet Constructivist gems, the courtyard behind an ordinary façade that turns out to be gorgeous. Ask me sometime and I'll take you to a rooftop near Chistye Prudy where the whole skyline lines up just right at sunset.
