The famous rock, 196 metres high, is located in the Urca district on a peninsula in Guanabara Bay. It is one of Rio de Janeiro’s main calling cards and best observation decks, offering a panoramic view of the city, the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, and the Christ the Redeemer statue.
