I still think about the bowl of ramen I had at 2am in a Sawtelle strip mall years ago — that's when I understood what this city actually tastes like. I know every neighborhood has a kitchen worth obsessing over, from the smoky taquerias in Boyle Heights to the chef-driven spots hiding in Silver Lake courtyards. My passion is connecting people with the meals they'll be talking about long after they've left.
